Azimut

It’s nearly impossible to talk about the Italian marine industry without Azimut coming up in the conversation. The builder has been turning out reliable, seaworthy, and elegant yachts seemingly since time immemorial (actually 1969), and has earned a lofty reputation because of it. The company’s latest launch, the 95RPH, is no different than her predecessors in the quality of her build, but she will most certainly differentiate herself from her competitors.

Azimut’s sleek 95RPH utilizes large windows and bold design choices to maximize onboard space.

First and foremost, the 95RPH has that eponymous raised pilot house, a relatively unusual design choice, but one that makes sense. Having a separate space for the helm station not only allows the captain his own, enclosed area from which to command the boat, it also frees up the other decks for the passengers—an asset realized most completely in the master, which is located forward on the main deck and which features stunning panoramic views.

The large windows on the main deck stretch the entirety of the space, and provide excellent natural light to the Studio Salvagni Architetti-designed interior. There you’ll find modern design and an exemplary fit and finish—the pride of the Tuscan craftsmen who built it.

The accommodations level features four en suite VIP staterooms, which, coupled with the master, allows the boat to sleep ten passengers, with additional space for four crew members.

Up top a large flying bridge plays host to a Jacuzzi, a corner bar, and an absolute must onboard an Italian yacht, the sunpad. It’s highly unlikely this space will ever remain unoccupied for long.

Down in the engine room two burly MTU 16V2000 M84 engines provide the 95RPH with a sporty top end of 26.5 knots and a cruise speed of 20 knots. Which is to say, onboard the Azimut 95RPH, you’ll get where you’re going quickly, but you may not want to leave the boat once you get there.
